I first saw this book series, Make It Yourself: The Complete Step-by-Step Library of Needlework and Crafts, in my friend Katie Hatch's office (she often wears fashions she designed and made). I liked the books so much, that I bought and assembled my own set at around $1 a piece.

Ahhh....LOVE these books - my good friend gave me two of them and I found the Christmas edition a couple years back. Good finds! :)

You're friends with Katie Hatch?!? She's so cool--I'm very bummed that Blueprint magazine was discontinued. Next time you see her, tell her to find a new medium to distribute her craftiness to the masses (like me!).
