I'm so so sorry for the loss of your daughter. That's so sad.

I'm so very sorry for your loss, Abby. I had so many friends from work who were friends with you when I worked at MS, that I always felt as if I knew you in some way! I even got a copy of 'Abby's New York list' (that you had set up in an Excel spreadsheet) from someone. I often referred to it during my time in NYC! Thinking of you, and so glad that you have a great husband to support you through such an ordeal.

Thank you for your notes. Our daughter was born with and died from Shwachman Diamond Syndrome. She spent 7 weeks at NYU's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and about a week at NY Presbyterian's Intensive Care Nursery. She lived 8 weeks. And we miss her dearly.

Happy Anniversary you guys..
I remember your wedding day so vividly, with the rain and Abby's amazing dress all tucked and folded. So much has happened since then.. and here's to a wonderful life that isn't quite as crazy as 2008.

Abby: I have been following your blog for quite some time, but I don't think I have ever commented before.

This post touched me so, so deeply. And I just want to say that I am sorry.

Thank you for sharing this.

Abby --

I finally had some time to go through your blog -- what a wonderful note; and so fun to see how talented you are. It seems to ooze from you.

My best,
Whitney
