A few years ago my mother-in-law showed me to some boxes of my husband's childhood art projects. Stuff my husband didn't want. I went through each piece and picked out what I thought we should hold onto. My husband, an attorney, doesn't show much of his creative side, so seeing his drawings and stories he created was wonderful. *[Artwork from NY Times article: "Mom, You're One Tough Art Critic."]
After reading that article I came up with this motto that we can use for our little one...even though I'm an art teacher:
Scan the decent, frame the best, toss the rest

gorgeous!!
I must go through my boys 'early' works to see if there's anything worth keeping and framing.

Wow, those are amazing! I used to work at a child care centre and have kept and cherished every drawing the kids gave to me, they are so imaginative and precious!

My mother in law just did this too. It's so great to see through that window.
