A game I played in grade school, Parcheesi is an American adaptation of the Indian Cross and Circle game Pachisi. It is often subtitled the "Royal Game of India" because (created in India around 500 BC) it utilized dancers as red, yellow, blue, and green pawns on palace grounds.

This is a game we always played with my grandmother who dubbed it "The Meany Game" :)
It's a very nostalgic game for the above reason and my fiance bought me a remake of the 70's version that looks very similar to the one above. The versions now have all sorts of cartoony drawings and such that just don't give the same memories to me, so I really appreciated him finding it.
